Willow Creek Campground has cabins, RV spaces, and tent sites next to a bubbling, year-round brook with plenty of parking, trails, and gold panning. The 20-acre property is located just north of Camptonville at 17548 Hwy. 49 between Nevada City and Downieville.
Open year round, we’re 35 minutes from Nevada City, 15 minutes from Bullards Bar Reservoir and ten minutes to the North and Center Fork of the Yuba River. There’s plenty to see and do at the center of Gold Country which is peppered with old mining towns, historic landmarks and the chance to finding occasional flakes and nuggets of gold for locals and visitors alike Willow Creek Campground encourages family camping, reunions, retreats, musical performances, and celebrations for guests and local residents. There are showers, bathrooms, a game room, a small convenience store, laundry facilities and plenty of wildlife with forestlands surrounding the forest property. Stay a couple of nights, a week, a month or longer in the lush Sierra foothills just an hour away from high country and winter snow.

Pets: Yes, we are pet friendly just ask you keep them on a leash and clean up after them , as we do provide poop bags.
Families: Yes, we are currently developing lots of great family activities for the upcoming season as well as the Gameroom which features a pool table, and a Pac-Man game, a piano, for great family entertainment. Also we encourage families to spend some time gold panning in our creek, hands & pans only.
